Japanese developer Sunsoft is back in a big way thanks to Ufouria The Saga 2 and its new Retro Game Selection. Sunsoft’s head Yuichi Ochi, Ufouria The Saga 2 director Masatomo Ina and Retro Game Selection’s director Shoki Harada tell us what to expect.
Why has Sunsoft embraced classic games again?
Yuichi Ochi: The answer is simple. It’s what the game users would like to see from Sunsoft. Speaking from a business perspective, no one can rewind time, so the fact we have such classic titles is an advantage. There was never an option for me to not make the most of this.
