Snuggsy is mixing Chuckie Egg with Nebulus to create a BBC and Electron masterpiece called Chuckulus
When it comes to coding, Snuggsy calls himself old school. “I’m developing my code in Notepad++, the sprites/artwork in Aseprite, and compiling in 0xc0de’s Max64. Disk and tape images are done with Gerald Holdsworth’s Disk Image Manager.” So what inspired him to create
Chuckulus? “I was looking at C64
Nebulus and thought I’d see how far I could get with an Electron version. Someone mentioned
Chuckie Egg on BlueSky, so I did a version with the
Chuckie Egg sprites. I converted my code to give a more
Chuckie Egg playing experience, and here we are!”
