Is there something in the water at Cambridge? They’re on a roll, and to devastating effect with the second Oxford Chief Coach stepping down in as many years. There definitely was something in the water in London: E. coli.
As it nears its second century the Oxford versus Cambridge Boat Race continues to sparkle, even if the river on which it is held doesn’t. High levels of E. coli bacteria, found by River Action campaign group at testing locations near Hammersmith Bridge, muddied the waters both figuratively and literally.
