Depending on where you row, it is either the beginning of the end or the end of the beginning: yesterday we were in Cambridge, UK filming the first day of the 2024 Boat Race campaign, today we fly to Serbia for the 2023 World Rowing Championships, which represents both the final chapter of this season and the first opportunity to qualify for Paris 2024. The Worlds will be picked over in the next issue, our landmark 50th edition.
