'Like Daleks, robot cleaners are constrained due to their inability to climb stairs'
There are few domestic appliances that span the price range quite as much as the humble vacuum cleaner. A good one, such as the much-admired, all-British Henry, can be bought for £120 - or you can pay 12 times that for, say, the £1,500 Ecovacs Xl Omni, a gleaming new robotic model from China that will also mop your kitchen floor. (Perhaps you might conclude that having a robot do that most hateful job is worth the outlandish outlay?)
