GRAPHIC NOVEL Moon, Mute, Madi: that’s how Duncan Jones’s movie trilogy was meant to play out. A screenplay for the third entry was ready to go in 2018, but after Jones’s Netflix movie met a tepid reaction he decided to turn it into a graphic novel instead. It’s a shame, because Madi (subtitled Once Upon A Time In The Future, the script’s original title) is an easier sell than Mute, and could have been a hit.
