BLU-RAY DEBUT Mario Bava’s final film is an overlooked entry in his filmography – understandably so. It has none of the gothic trappings associated with his work. His son Lamberto took charge of large sections. And the presence of Dario Argento’s then-partner Daria Nicolodi as the lead, operatic prog from Goblinoffshoot Libra and the recurrence of a trope from Deep Red mean it feels more Dario than Mario.
