London Scrap Terminal’s first caller

The Italian-owned mini-bulker Sider Luck arrived on the Thames in mid-November 2023 to take the first cargo of scrap metal to be loaded at London Scrap Terminal, at Northfleet. The facility has breathed new life into the jetty, which for years has been used for the import of pulp, most recently Kimberly Clark’s paper mill.
