TENSION 14 sts and 10 rows measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over half treble crochet using a 5mm hook, or size needed to obtain correct tension
ABBREVIATIONS
5-tr cl (Yrh, insert hook in st indicated, yrh and pull up loop, yrh and draw through 2 loops) 5 times, inserting hook in same st each time, yrh and draw through all 6 loops on hook For a full list, see page 78 of Simply Crochet magazine
A mix of acrylic and alpaca fibres, post stitches and treble clusters make this cosy cardigan a tactile treat.
NOTES Cardigan is made flat in 5 pieces: Back, 2 Fronts and 2 Sleeves. Pieces are sewn together and a ribbed Front Band is added. To make it longer or shorter, you can adjust the number of rows, but always adjust by an even number, eg: work 2, 4 or 6 rows more or fewer. If you make it longer you may need more yarn.
When working the Sleeve, place a stitch marker around the increase sts to check you’re always increasing on alternate sides.
