“I was delighted to take part in this month’s challenge. I love designing and when I realised the brief was to create a hat using West Yorkshire Spinners I couldn’t wait to start. I had great fun incorporating the four colours into my design. “I was very happy when asked if I wanted to participate in Hook to Hook. At the same time, it was quite a challenge as designing a hat was something new for me and I wanted to make one that I would like to wear myself. Lots of texture looks interesting in neutral colours so I chose a lovely crossed treble raised stitch pattern.
