Granny squares are so veratile, and can be made in almost any size – for instance, the entire front of this jumper from issue 92 is one macro-sized square! It was made by Bethy Clarke, aka @bethyboocrochet. She loved creating it so much, she made another one for her mum!
BEST VEST
Made of individual motifs, this tank top is definitely a winner. Sure to attract lots of attention, this pretty project from issue 114 was hooked up beautifully by Sue MacPhee – we think she’ll look fantastic when she wears it out and about. She slightly altered the colours used and we think the end result is brilliant. You’ve got a talent for garment-making, Sue! Keep it up!
TERRIFIC TILES
Crochet-alongs are a great way to connect with you fellower hooksters. Carrie-Anne Hiscock agrees and decided to participate in our new Talavera CAL. This is her part one check-in and she is loving it so far. While she found it a bit tricky in places, she is looking forward to the next six parts. You can join in, too, on page 73!
