Joanne Fowler
“I was excited to create a shawl for this Hook to Hook challenge. I enjoy reading this feature in the magazine and seeing the yarns presented in different designs. I pictured this silky yarn as a fluid, draped shawl that could be worn on a sunset beach walk. This shell and chain loop stitch seemed perfect combined with a delicate border to create a pretty silhouette without extra weight.“ Find Joanna on Instagram at @madewithloveandfibres or at www.madewithloveandfibres.com

“The Hook to Hook challenge is one of my favourite features of the magazine, so I was excited to take part. I’m terrible at managing to keep shawls wrapped around me, so I decided to design an infinity shawl even I could keep on! My dad keeps bees, so honeycomb often features in my designs, and when I saw the chosen colour I knew I wanted to use this filet pattern, as it would set it off perfectly.” You can find Hannah and all her making endeavours on Instagram at @haebarker
