GEESE GALORE
In the blink of an eye another year has rushed by and we are, once again, making our way to the Orkney Islands for three days of goose shooting. Rob runs the Orkney Shooting Holidays outfit, and no effort is spared to make sure you get plenty of shooting. The Islands have a resident population of some 25,000 greylag, augmented by the same number of migrants in the autumn. Pinkfeet also arrive in September, but tend to move further south after a few days.
