Two of the four HDMI inputs are compliant with HDMI 2.1 – good news for next-gen gamers.
DAY 01
No matter if you choose the 48in, the 55in or this 65in version of the Philips OLED936, your money gets you a nice-looking, well made and flawlessly finished TV.
Seen in profile the OLED936 is slim enough… except for the bulge where it keeps its electronic bits. That takes its depth to almost 5cm, and if it’s wall-mounted then it’s effectively a touch over 15cm. Otherwise, though, this is exactly what a big, premium television should be in terms of design, build and finish. The metal bezel is minimal and tactile. The Bowers & Wilkins sound system is not only pretty in a purposeful sort of way, but is also sturdy enough to function as a stand. The plastics of the rear look and feel upmarket, and there’s no chance you’ll feel short-changed with any of this stuff.
