Omni’s on my mind
Amazon is raising the quality stakes with its latest own-brand TV… giving shoppers, and rivals, something to think about

Amazon has been selling its own-brand TVs for some years now, and a trend is emerging: it’s going upmarket.
Having started with budget sets, it introduced the Omni range in 2022 with QLED panels… and now we get this one, complete with Mini LED tech, available in a nice spread of 55, 65 and 75in versions to go up against the likes of the Hisense U7N.
My review sample is the 55in model, which is the best size for my home – reviewing anything bigger means rearranging everything in the living room. While the range starts at an appealing £750 for this size, the 65in is a bit of a step up at £200 more and the 75in an even bigger leap, well up into four figures at £1200.
