If you consider Spain exotic, then sure. Cupra is the peri-peri sauce to Seat’s butterfly chicken: same basic formula, just a little hotter. Last year’s Cupra Ateca was a taster of things to come, merely tweaking one of Seat’s more popular SUVs with some racy alloys, bulging exhausts and a new badge. Oh, and the same 300bhp engine as a VW Golf R. But the Formentor is entirely different.
