Disc-hole inferno
YAMAHA CD-C603
Back in the 1990s, afive-disc CD player was up there with frosted tips, acopy of Duke Nukem 3D and apair of Puma Disc trainers as one of the coolest things you could own. With basically everything from the pre-Facebook era now back in fashion, Yamaha has taken the bold step of resurrecting the multi-changer… but with acouple of 21st-century tricks. For starters you can change the other four CDs inside without interrupting the one that’s playing, plus it supports hi-res files at up to 24-bit/96kHz, so you can burn aCDR or shove amemory stick in the USB port and party like it’s 2006. Hey, that still counts as the 21st century, OK?
