Digital audio players used to be for hi-fi geeks only, but can this affordable option be a mainstream daily companion?

The well-positioned buttons on either side (one for power and volume, the other for playing and skipping tracks) meant I wasn’t constantly tapping the screen. A physical lock switch would have been handy, though.
