Top-tier phones have always been pricey, but these days buying one means consulting your bank manager first. We need a ‘flagship killer’ more than ever in 2023.
First to step up to the plate is OnePlus, the firm that practically invented the concept a decade ago. On paper, the OnePlus 11 hits all the right targets, including the latest and greatest mobile silicon courtesy of Qualcomm and a camera trio overhauled with help from Hasselblad. The screen now plays nicely with Dolby Vision content, and spatial audio support promises a more engaging listen if your headphones are up to snuff. It also steps things up on the styling front, to better compete with alluring rival handsets.
