Starting out as a dog roaming around the back alleys of what appears to be a neon-lit Hong Kong cityscape, you’d be forgiven for thinking this was a canine spin-off of the indie hitStray.
That doesn’t last long, however, since you’ll soon come to a fence that this dog has no way of climbing over. Cue Slitterhead’s main trick: you don’t play as a dog but as a spirit who can possess other living things.
In Kowlong, a dense fictional Asian city, so many people going about their lives means there’s a lot of bodies to possess, and you can jump from one to another almost as if you were platforming between them. This isn’t quite Watch Dogs, then, as you’re not given much time to invest in the citizens – maybe Invasion of theBodySnatchers is a better comparison, because some of these people are host to the titular monsters that your spirit has to exterminate.
