Alienware only went all-in on 16in and 18in screens for its gaming laptops last year, a few months before Intel dropped its 14th-gen Core mobile CPUs. So I don’t judge Dell’s gaming wing for taking the mid-life refresh route, rather than going for another complete overhaul. The original M18 was well received, after all; surely this R2 variant can’t miss?
