WELCOME
Hello! When I say this issue is jam-packed, I mean it. It’s our 300th issue, so we’ve taken a trip down a slightly hazy memory lane to look at some of the finest tech from the late 1990s, the 2000s, the 2010s and into the 2020s – it’s the top gadgets of Stuff ’s lifetime! Yes, the iPod and Nokia 3210 are in there of course, but there are quite a few less obvious choices too. We hope you enjoy looking through them, whether you remember them from first time around or just want to laugh at the kind of tech your parents had to deal with. If you want something a little more cutting-edge too, we’ve also got a cover feature on the latest home cinema hardware, including the best soundbars as well as screens for every budget. While tellies are a lot bigger in screen size than they used to be, anyone who had to move a large (like 28in) Sony Trinitron will attest that they’re often lighter – some of those old ones were over 40kg. Elsewhere in the mag we’ve got roundups of smart mirrors and rowing machines, while the Upvoted spread has a fine selection of pocket tools to help you with all those timeless tasks. Oh, and we’ve also reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 – can Samsung persuade even more of us to choose a flip phone? – plus the latest Beats Studio Pro headphones. Enjoy the issue!
