Editor’s letter
Recently travel has been less of a mixed bag and more a suitcase that’s been ransacked by security. Returning from holiday last year, my plane was delayed for six hours overnight before finally being cancelled after being sat on the tarmac for a further two. I subsequently spent the final 24 hours of my holiday stewing in a petri dish of Covid and virulent outrage on the airport floor.
