Tabletop Gaming

May 2026 Hello gamers! Up from the depths, 30 stories high – yes, the King of the Monsters, Godzilla himself, has leapt from the pages of IDW Comics to bring big Kai-Sei energy to your tabletop. Warhammer alumni Jervis Johnson and Mark A. Latham (see p14) discuss a unique deck-based RPG that even lets you play as a kaiju! Elsewhere, it’s been a great month for gaming merch, as we double the size of our Game Adjacent column (p32) – including a £10K Yu-Gi-Oh! guitar! And if you think we’re not getting into your head – psych! We catalogue psychoanalyst Carl Jung’s 12 character archetypes (p38), and whichever one you unconsciously align with as a player, we’ve got the perfect game for you. Happy gaming!

Tabletop Gaming

Whilst the best games series are useful, they include a number of games that were rated as average or even poor. Reviewed 24 October 2020

Waste of 6$ - if you're here for painting tips.

Bought this for the Dungeon Depths terrain guide; the site makes it look like it'll be a step by step to really making these pop, but it turns out to be barely 4 pages of 3 or 4 progression images and barely a sentence of guide for each. Not only this, but there's barely a discussion of most of the terrain, getting the OSL shown on the main pic, or really anything else.

Gave it a 3 cuz it'd be unfair to give it a 1 since I only cared about the painting bits.
