The Sweet and Sour Issue
1883 shake things up this spring and show that opposites do attract with the hottest new talent out there. We get lost in those sweet, blue eyes of Nicolas Hoult, chat about Pu$$y, toddlers in tiaras and culture with the sour-lyric styling’s of Iggy Azalea and delve deep in to the potent mixture of the two with the Mercury prize winning Alt-J. We also speak with the songstress that is making huge waves in the music industry, Laura Mvula.

We get those hearts-a-flutter with some of acting’s newest heartthrobs; Tamsin Egerton, Eleanor Tomlinson and Shiloh Fernandez and there’s a juicy helping of fashion this issue. Either head on up to see Flamingos on the Roof or slip down into the dark, recesses of the hero’s lair with I Need a Hero. We get up close and personal with Acne’s SS13 collection as well as a healthy helping of editorials for everyone’s tastes. In beauty, 1883 catches up with the M.A.C daddy himself, Terry Barber, Director of Makeup at M.A.C as well as showcasing beauty’s most coveted products and looks.

Take a glimpse into the future with our Art & Design section and the evolution of personal I don’t think personal is the right word. architecture and 3-D printing on the moon. We’ll transport you away from the never-ending winter in our Travel & Lifestyle with our hottest destinations for 2013 and we ask the mother of all questions: Is this really the end of Facebook?

Not just London based

Highly entertaining magazine for all trends Reviewed 16 October 2018

This is my first time reading 1883, the Tom Hiddleston issue. I have to say it's brilliant, insightful, and beautifully done. I'd likely purchase another issue, or I may just subscribe. Reviewed 11 September 2012
