American Miniaturist  |  Issue 259
I wanted to talk this month about change. In the past few years we have all had change forced upon us in so many ways. When change interrupts the things that give us comfort, anxiety can overwhelm us. I have been practicing mindfulness as I have been going through a number of significant changes in my personal life during the past year.
The biggest thing to remember is that change is a part of life; it’s as natural as the sun setting and rising. Also please know that we are designed to adapt. The moment a change is presented to you it’s important to recognize that you will find a new way. Keeping that faith in yourself will help you to feel safe and focused.
One thing we can always rely on are the yearly holidays and we are welcoming Halloween in this fantastic issue of American Miniaturist! Now is the time to think outside of the box as you set your spooky miniature scenes and decorate your dollhouses. Have fun and be sure to share with us what you are making. We always love to see creativity!
