American Miniaturist  |  Issue 251
After my neighbor got to see my miniature creations, she began asking if more of her friends and family could come over for tours. Of course I was delighted to oblige, but what I didn’t expect was to be inspired and have my passion for my art reignited!
When someone who is unfamiliar with miniatures sees them for the first time it can ignite magic. It seems the ones that are truly fascinated have a creative side with a child-like wonder view of the world. Well I have been very lucky because the people who have seen my work truly understood what goes into every piece. The last one had very few words and instead kept gasping. She was especially enamored with my elf tree house project. It was such fun for me to witness.
Because of this I wanted to be sure and mention to AM readers please be sure to let others see your miniature worlds because it might just inspire you as well. Also it helps our community grow, if after seeing your work, they start to catch the mini fever! It doesn’t hurt to hint on how they could start their own journey with a small room box if they seem very interested. Just planting these little seeds may help them discover an interest that could change their life for the better.
I hope you enjoy this issue of AM and find lots of inspiration for your current or future projects!
