The Royal Bank of Scotland branch in Brodick will only be open on four days a week from next month.
Bosses have decided that the branch will be closing on a Wednesday, with effect from Monday, June 13. Staff at the branch have been advising customers about the change and leaflets are being distributed that outline the new opening hours.
An RBS spokesman said: ‘Banking has changed significantly over the last few years and the way people want to interact with us is also changing. We have to continually adapt to meet our customers’ needs and to ensure we remain viable and relevant both now and in the future.
