ONE HUNDRED leading lights in endurance medicine are to gather in Scotland for the World Extreme Medicine expo in November.
Among those presenting new research on human endurance and sports medicine is Dr Andrew Murray (right), who has worked with Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth athletes. Dr Murray, based in Edinburgh, has run 4300km from Scotland to the Sahara Desert, completed a husky trek in -40C in Outer Mongolia and finished first in the North Pole Marathon, the Antarctic Ice Marathon and the Indo Ultra.
