LYNSEY SHARP says she can’t afford to focus on Caster Semenya’s dominance as she makes her own preparations for the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
The South African is unbeaten in 2016 and has won many of her races seemingly at a canter, but Sharp (below), who is third on the UK all-time 800m list, is concentrating on her own form.

She told AW: “I’ve known Caster since 2008. We met when we competed at the Commonwealth Youth Games so she’s a regular face on the circuit to me. It’s like any other person you’ve raced against.
“All I can do is go out and do what I can do and know I’m capable of. I know I can compete there or thereabouts so it’s out of my control what she does.
