WORLD 400m silver medallist Shaunae Miller improved the world lead with a beautifully relaxed 49.55 which gave her a winning margin of eight metres to set herself up as the main rival to Allyson Felix in Brazil. After easing through 200m, she maintained her long, powerful stride all the way to the line.
The Bahamian said: “I put in a lot of work for these competitions so I’m glad it’s paying off. It was a great feeling.”
