FANS enjoyed the novelty of being able to glance at elite athletes limbering up on the new warm-up track next to the Olympic Stadium last weekend, but they will soon be able to use it themselves.
The arena, which includes a miniature stand and was built with the support of the London Marathon Charitable Trust, is a community track and is set to become the home of Newham & Essex Beagles in addition to being used by schools and other groups on a pay-as-you-use basis.
