So, let’s start in the middle. Party Monster is the 2003 movie, based on the 1998 documentary The Shockumentary, based on James St James’s memoir Disco Bloodbath. Confused? It’s fine, it all adds to the trippy, drug-infused reality of the true story behind all three.
