The classic car industry is a broad church. One man’s masterpiece is another man’s oddball; one woman’s dream is another woman’s nightmare. It’s why we strive to deliver the most eclectic classic car magazine you can buy, championing the misunderstood as well as the heartland classics. We reckon 16 is one of the most eclectic issues to date.

Our cover car is the Mk2 Volkswagen Golf GTI 16v, widely acknowledged as one of the best hot hatches of the 1980s.
