Craft Stamper | Craft Stamper - July 2012
Hello! As I write this the weather lately has been of rain, rain and a bit more rain so I hope by the time this magazine reaches you that the sun has decided to show itself! If not, don’t despair - there are plenty of bright, sunny projects in this issue to cheer you up.
For me, butterflies speak so eloquently of summer and are such versatile and pretty images to use in a wide variety of projects. You’ll find loads of butterfly-themed makes this month, including our Stamping Contrasts feature (p.22) and new contributor Stephanie Wincott’s stunning floral cards using Hero Arts stamp and emboss combo sets (p.18).
I also associate summer with fresh, fun colours and we’ve plenty of zingy projects that suit the shades of the season. Check out Gail’s gorgeous canvas (p.36), Jaine’s beautiful fabric makes (p.6) and my pretty card featuring a double masking technique (p.12).
And if that rain is still falling, then why not take advantage of it and spend the time playing with new products? In this issue Trish Latimer explores deliciously vintage Fran●tage products (p.9) and Sarah Engles-Greer gives you the lowdown on Kraft Glassine (p.68). Or why not just experiment with what you already have? You might be surprised what you can do with gel medium (p.34) or glossy cardstock (p.62). Enjoy!
