Drama and Theatre  |  Summer 2 19/20
In Drama & Theatre Summer 2, we find ourselves in a new world – and have endeavoured to provide readers with comprehensive coverage of opportunities and resources available for teaching and enjoying drama remotely during this period of enforced separation from students. We’ve got features on teaching drama remotely, with expert advice; on the wealth of free live-streamed theatre that’s been made available from all over the world; and on projects designed to keep young people making drama even in isolation.
Our reviews section touches on products and resources that you can access while schools, shops and theatres are closed, and play text coverage will help you to plan learning that you can deliver remotely, as well as productions for when lockdown eases. In anticipation that one day we’ll all be back together, we also report on some projects and initiatives which have operated face-to-face in schools and theatres, and that we hope will continue one day soon.
