John Dibbs air-to-air photography is, as ever, stunning.

DRAGON LADY
Lt Col Anthony Martinez reveals what it was like to fly a fabled and highly secretive ‘Cold War’ legend, the Lockheed U-2.

KITTYHAWK SPECIAL
Our 22-page Spotlight section looks at Curtiss’ famous shark-mouthed World War Two fighter, the P-40. Included is a detailed three-way artwork of an example that flew in China with the so-called Flying Tigers, plus pilot perspectives, and an account of the type’s use in combat.

‘RACING’ HARRIER
Bryan Baker talks to Hugh Trevor about his time flying Tangmere’s air racing example of the Hawker Harrier jump jet.

FROM THE WORKSHOP
This issue features two special behind-the-scenes looks at important projects. Ben Dunnell details changes afoot at IWM London, while Mike Shreeve looks at an attempt to recreate the machine that flew the first ever scheduled airline route.

RAF SHOW OF FORCE

Digital subscription for Flypast magazine

I have purchased the Flypast magazine for many years and generally as a hard copy. However, for the last couple of years l have subscribed annually to the digital version and now read on my iPad.
The magazine is great and I always find the content interesting and varied and never bored with the topics covered. Whilst previously enjoying the hard copy l am now a devoted digital subscriber and would recommend this version. On the downside you miss out on add ons such as calendars etc.
