This month’s issue of Knitting focuses on knits that are designed to suit everyone and anyone and have been photographed on both a male and female model. Clothes are such a powerful way of expressing ourselves and they take on key importance in the way we choose to show ourselves to the world. As a knitter you are in a better position than many to choose exactly how you present yourself to the people around you, as you create the shapes and fabric you will wear with your own hands. In the October issue, we have 23 stunning designs that attempt to explore this kind of flexibility in your personal fashion. We have exciting designs by a number of fantastic designers such Arne & Carlos’s Fairisle Knut jumper; Jo Allport’s asymmetric cable Cody sweater; Pat Strong’s light-weight gender-neutral Chaleur sweater; Brian Smith’s Anya triangle shawl that combines stripes with a textured border; Pat Menchini’s super chunky funnel-neck Outdoorsy jumper; and many more innovative knits. We’ve also got a guest column by designer, author and avid knitter Jen Arnall-Culliford, and we feature #Unfinished artist Sisse Fog Odgaard, who has created a giant Morse code SOS made from beautiful but abandoned knitting projects. Plus, this issue includes an extra special Gift Knitting supplement, if you’ve ever needed an excuse to spend more time knitting, this is it: the selfless act of making things for other people. As we start to look ahead to the festive season this supplement is the perfect present inspiration, with 8 quick and cute patterns that would make the ideal handcrafted gift for a loved one. So with all that plus our regular features, you’ll find plenty of things to keep you occupied in the October issue of Knitting, out now!

Lots of useful advice

Particularly good for beginners Reviewed 16 July 2019

Brilliant app

I'm a fan of the paper magazine and this app is just as brilliant.
I didn't have any of the problems described in the other reviews ( I've downloaded 2 numbers so far) this maybe just a different version though.
