Beth Lockwood breaks for Leeds in their big win over Huddersfield
THE newly rebranded LEIGH LEOPARDS made their Super League bow and left it until the very last minute to secure a draw at BRADFORD BULLS.
In a game that was tight from start to finish, defences were on top and a 12-12 scoreline was a fair result for both sides.
It was Leigh who took the lead through a Bulls error when they worked the ball out wide from a scrum for Toryn Blackwood to touch down in the corner after 10 minutes, with Emma Knowles adding the conversion. But the Bulls were soon level through Evie Kilburn’s try and Hannah Donald conversion.
