IN A MOVE that intensifies the rivalry with Google Maps, a public beta version of Apple Maps has been made available on the web. It lets you discover places while getting driving and walking directions. You can also find information about businesses, perform actions direct from the Maps Place Card, and check out what other people think by sharing it without using the Maps app on your computer.
