HOW TO SAVE ALL MY NOTES TO MY iPAD, NOT iCLOUD? Provided you have sufficient free space in your iPad’s storage, this is easily set up for new notes. Tap Settings > Notes and there enable the On My iPad account. Then change the Default Account setting to On My iPad. It’s also worth checking the accounts listed there, as you might wish to clean them up.
HOW TO LOOK UP A WORD IN A FRENCH DICTIONARY? First enable the French to English dictionary in the list in Settings > General > Dictionary. Then double–tap on the word, scroll the commands to the right until you see the Look Up option. Tap that and scroll down until you reach the entry from that dictionary.
