CES has once again offered an exciting sneak peek at tomorrow’s technology
WRITTEN BY DAVID CROOKES
While January can be an otherwise bleak month, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) shone bright once more, and it wasn’t just because it was held under the bright lights of Las Vegas. For those lucky enough to traverse the halls and booths of one of tech’s most important annual events, there was a huge assortment of innovative goodies to see, touch, and hear, and most of those cutting–edge devices will be heading our way over the coming months.
Although Apple itself wasn’t showcasing any of its wares (it has its own events for that, the first of which will be coming soon), there was plenty of third– party gear to keep us happy. We spotted devices that will help you get the most out of your iPhone, iPad, and Mac, saw some innovative controllers that will potentially change the way you approach tech, and became excited over a robot that aims to make your life smarter. Here, we round up our pick of the bunch.

If you stuff a backpack full of lots of expensive items, it’s worth protecting them. HyperPack’s water–resistant bag includes a Find My–compatible tracker, charging passthroughs so you can power on the go, and hidden security pockets for those devices you don’t want on show. A cheaper HyperPack Go has an AirTag pocket instead.
LG PF600U
> www.lg.com Is it a nine–color LED mood lamp? Is it a stereo Bluetooth speaker? It is a 1080p Full HD projector? This beautifully designed stand–pole device is actually all three, and it will likely provide a great way to watch the newSupermanmovie later this year. Compatible with iOS and streaming via LG’s webOS, it can project from 30 to 120 inches, and offers images with 300 ANSI lumens of brightness.
