ROSSI HAS HE STILL GOT IT?
It’s hard to quantify Valentino Rossi’s 2018 season; a few highs but also more lows than he’s used to. On one hand, he finished third overall against younger opposition on better bikes, using consistency to be in the title race all season. But on the other, it’s his first year since the woeful Ducati era where he’s ended the year without a win, coming away with a handful of podiums but no visit to the top step for the first time since 2012. With Rossi not getting any younger and likely to face some of the same engine issues in 2019 as he did last year, MCN examines whether the Italian still has what it takes to get back to winning ways.
