DISASTER
Sunday’s British Grand Prix has become the first MotoGP race in over thirty
years to be cancelled, after unsafe track conditions at Silverstone saw racing called off without a wheel turning in anger. After a series of delays, the decision
was eventually taken out of the hands of the organisers when riders decided that the Northamptonshire circuit’s new multi-million-pound track surface was too dangerous to ride on due to the amount of standing water.
