Parchment Craft  |  February 2011
Welcome to the February issue of Parchment Craft. With Valentine’s Day fast approaching there’s a loving feel to this month’s magazine, where we present a variety of designs which are suitable for the most romantic day of the year. While many of the cards are perfect for February 14th, they can all be easily adapted to suit other occasions by either changing the wording, apart of the design or the colour of the insert.
The first project in the magazine is Julie Roces’ Have a Heart card (Page 6).
It’s a very beautiful, traditional lace work example, which has a 3D heart
inserted into the lattice section on the main card. Other notable designs forValentines have been submitted by Tatsue Shibata, Aileen Childs and Katie Johnson.
Featured on the front cover and also this month’s 3D piece is Linda Williams’ Bassinette Gift Box (Page 18). It’s an exquisite, yet challenging project which features multi grids; proving that they’re not just for card making.
Enjoy the issue.
