Radio Control Jet International  |  April/May 2017

This month we take on the challenge of building and modifying Skymaster’s excellent F-104 Starfighter kit. We also look at a superb and unique prototype Me 262 model, that was made in Germany but is currently flying in Australia. In a new series Mal Luff looks at how to get started in 3D printing for aeromodelling, which will culminate in printing out your very own Ejector Seat! Colin Straus follows up an initial introduction at JetPower ‘16 to find out more about STV-Tech’s current range of accessories for the jet modeller, and we visit a windswept airfield, somewhere in Western Australia, with a report from WestJets Wyalkatchem. We also have a feature on workshop layouts for the jet modeller, try out ATJ's new 190SV turbine in a Excalibur+, and within our regular columns look at the theory behind asymmetric flight and discuss turbine restarting systems and gyros.

However for iOS we recommend an iPad 2 (2nd gen)/iPhone 3 or better for performance and stability. Earlier models with lower processor and RAM specifications may experience slower page rendering and occasional app crashes which are outside of our control.
