IRISH train services are being hit by new industrial action, after nine days of talks in October over pay and conditions broke down without agreement. Unions warn that job losses are increasingly likely.
A three-hour walkout on 23 October was set to be followed by another stoppage on 6 November.
The dispute centres around a pay claim which if granted could mean job losses, it is feared. In addition those staff who remain, particularly drivers, could have to work longer hours.
