Rugby League World Magazine 500 Back Issue

Well here we are, we’ve made it. 500 issues and still going strong – happy birthday Rugby League World.
As with all good stories we start at the beginning looking back to what was happening in the game, both here and in Australia, at the time Open Rugby first hit the shelves, before examining what each centenary edition was reporting at the time.
We also take a look back at some of the game’s leading players who have celebrated hitting a 500 landmark of their own, either in appearances or tries.
And just to bring a bit fun to the party, we take a light-hearted look back at some of our favourite, most memorable and historic covers, as well as some we might like to forget!
But this issue is not all about looking back. We’re very much focused on the present as the current season starts ramping up to an exciting climax. Salford, Batley, North Wales and Wigan women are among the teams harbouring hopes of play-off success and we hear from them all.
And what would a birthday celebration be without a big present? We certainly have one of those for a lucky reader. We’ve teamed up with Catalans Sports Tours to offer a trip for two to Perpignan for a Catalans game of their choice.
