Its Jägermeister time! When I was younger I didn’t
know what the stags head logo meant on these
orange racing cars. However, I did find out in later life!
16 PRODUCT REVIEW
For some time now NSR’s Porsche 908/3 has been
at the top of the tree when it comes to racing classic
sports at club level. But can their new Lola T280/290
take its crown?
20 WORKSHOP
Philip Prestage gives us a lesson in craftsmanship
as he builds up a Wolf WR1 Formula 1 car from the
late 1970’s.
23 CLUB FOCUS
So where is Oaklands Park and more to the point
what on earth are their Tiddlers? David Warren from
the club explains all!
26 PRODUCT REVIEW
Rapid Transit Authority? Well, if these new Ford Vans
from FLY Car Model of Madrid are concerned – then
yes, they are. We get the first chance to blast these
boxes around a track!
30 PRODUCT REVIEW
Never thought about going digital slot racing? Not
sure on what system to hang your hat on? Well
after an enjoyable time testing the SCX Advance
entry level set, we can certainly see why huge
chunks of Europe are dumping analogue and going
digital for home use.
34 LE MANS PITLANE BUILD
Why would you need to 3D print endless amounts
of 1/32nd scale telephones, fire extinguishers or
Gendarmes? Well, if you were building an accurate
representation of the 1970 Le Mans Pit Lane, you
would.
38 PRODUCT REVIEW
This is not a classic Mustang, but the latest piece of
Detroit muscle, the Ford Mustang GTD. This new
Ford is taking on the world of GT3 racing, winning
it class at Daytona this year. But will the Scalextric
version do equally the same on the slot track?
42 JURASSIC PARK?
In issue 67 we showed you Chis Savage from
Melton and District Model Club, dinosaur themed
timed rally stage. Here he shows us how he built it
and some of his tips could become part of your own
routed slot layout.
