The STRADIVARIfestival was the first and is the largest musical event to be held at the Museo del Violino in Cremona. It was founded in 2013 to showcase the Giovanni Arvedi Auditorium, the museum’s wonderful concert hall which, thanks to the work of engineer Yasuhisa Toyota, boasts some of the best acousticsin the world, especially for the sound and harmonies of stringed instruments. The festival soon became one of the leading international violin events, and it regularly plays host to some of the most acclaimed string players, along with many other musicians. Over the years, the programme, which is largely centred around classical music, has featured many different musical genres in an attempt to meet the demands of an increasingly broad and diverse audience.
The 2023
festival promises to be a truly starstudded affair
